Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Food was good. Good place for liver and onions.
There was a time when the food was really good there. But for the last year or so the quality has changed. There has been several times in the past that I had to send food back. Saturday evening was the last time I will go there. I had to send my fish back both times it was rotten looking and you couldn't cut it with a knife. Then the manager said they were having a problem with the fish. So why did they serve it.
Hostess never asked us where we wished to be seated. Sat us at a booth that wat way too small for my size so I was embarrassed by having to squeeze in the seat. I watched her do this over and over. The biggest problem was that when she seated 3 people in a 2 person booth! I was a hostess for years never have I ever seated anyone until I asked where they wanted to sit "table or booth". I then had to look at my food. I had a melted mnm on my french toast? I walked out.
So, we were on a road trip for the day, and I saw this Valley Dairy sign! It was about 2 in the afternoon, and we were hungry, hadn't eaten since breakfast.hello about 2 o'clock in the afternoon and we were hungry hadn't eaten since breakfast. I never had a chance to eat here but I heard it was always satisfying. I had a tall glass of iced tea, a Reuben sandwich, and french fries. Everything was cooked perfectly in the iced tea was just right! My wife had the ham and egg melt on toast, with hash browns. She was extremely happy with what she had it looked wonderful! I suggest going there for your breakfast or lunch or dinner, comfort food is always on the order!
Ordered appetizer was frozen in middle. No, apology just yelled across the restaurant about deducting from bill. Was first and last time I will eat there.
