RiverGate Mall is already seeing changes under its new ownership. Hendon Properties owner, Charlie Hendon has personally met with community groups and leaders. "We will react to the community, listen and be responsive." Known as an innovator in the retail industry, Hendon drives that point daily, "I want each and every person who walks through our doors to say, 'RiverGate is all about me!' That sentiment is evidenced in the new marketing campaign.
Hendon says the company will invest money into the mall, creating events and programs that will involve the community. As for the potential new tenants at RiverGate Mall, Hendon says they are currently in negotiations and can't yet reveal details.
