Awesome place to spend the day.. has all the best brands to shop. Has a great theme park within the mall with fast rides , mini golf and lots more. Parking is huge and almost always available.. the food court has ample options ranging from fine dining to fast food, shakes etc..

If you like to shop, this is the place to be. There are hundreds of stores and they range from designer labels to discount shops. Plus, if you have kids to entertain, there are a lot of fun activities to do here. Granted the kid activities all cost money (and not a little money either). There is even a hotel and movie theater, plus a lot of great restaurants. Definitely something for everyone at the mall of America!

Ever growing and adapting to the trends of styles of today. They are in the process of expanding the mall! I already thought it was huge. It has an updated food court and has given the mall the much needed face lift. I've been to this mall ever since I was younger and can still appreciate the rides in the now Nickelodeon Universe. Definitely worth a stroll around for food, exercise, window shopping, taste sampling, rides (real and virtual) and people watching.

I remember 25 years ago when it first opened! Wow, it has changed. The stores and decor have a much fancier feel. I would go here to "quick pick something up." But it is a lot of fun to spend an afternoon or day shopping and seeing all the sights. The store directory map is interactive and when you click on a store it not only shows you the fastest way to get there but estimates the time it will take you to walk there!

It's definitely what the name implies... I'm not one for shopping all day, especially at a normal mall but the MAO doesn't slack when it comes to providing a little something for everyone. Our last shopping trip was 7 hours and by the end we were still finding new stores to check out. I was especially impressed by the map stations that were surprisingly easy to use and descriptive. I was not impressed however by the 3 lids, 3 sunglasses huts, 2 build a bears, and the lack of chairs...ya know, the "it'll only be a minute" chairs. At around 4 it seemed like there was no place to take a break. Every lounge was packed with people and there was nothing much on the upper levels. Other than that we have definitely enjoyed ourselves every time we've gone and do plan to go back again and again.
