It's time to make a trip to Governor's Square for the best in shopping, entertainment and dining!
Beautiful decorations. My child loved interacting with other children in the play area. It was conveniently designed so I could watch her play while I sat at a nearby booth and relaxed. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Warm hearted people. Varitey of stores and reasonably priced items. Will gladly visit again.
My wife, I and our kids 5 and 1 yr old are kicked out of this mall by the mall security. An irresponsible parent left her kid unattended in the playground and the kid was playing rough for a while hitting my daughter. My daughter was mildly injured. When we insisted the guard to take the information of the irresponsible parent, they asked us to leave the mall or we will be charged for trespassing. When we tried to video them, they covered their faces and threaten to put us down if we don't stop filming. All this happened infront of our children. I promise myself not to set foot in such place again. If they cannot guarantee the safety of children in the playground, they have to shut it down for good. I will definitely sue them for it.
Its the place to go during the holidays for good Christmas gifts. It has a few good stores no long lines. Congestion was not that bad this year. Great prices
A lot of the good shops have moved out. Still have great anchor stores, Macy, Sears and Dillards. Revamped food court with a lot of choices.
This is the "good" mall in Tallahassee right now. I say that because The Centre at Tallahassee is not doing so well right now and because Governor's Square is not that great itself. They do seem to be trying by doing some updates and they seem to be trying to keep decent tenants but I don't know how successful their efforts are. Overall, if you need to go to Yankee Candle or Sears; or if you want some generic mall food then this is the place to go.
