Free parking and easier to see every store from every level compared to Providence which I still find to be a maze after 15 years of going into it. I find Emerald to be relaxing and welcoming to people who just need to rest as well. Tons of couches, Charging stations, Massage chairs and things to do if you're not shopping or just waiting around (teenagers for example). Food courts exceptional, some restaurants change quarterly but I feel like each replacement has become improvements and not down grades. (I'm my opinion )

I admit I don't go as often, but it's still my favorite mall. There are lots of plazas surrounding it you can hit on your way back. It's easier to park and navigate than Providence Place. I love when they hang the big ornaments each holiday season. Skip Providence and go here.

Decent local mall, if malls are you're thing. This mall still has some large national anchor stores, such as JCPenney, Macy's and Sears. The balance of stores are your smaller chains. This mall, unlike many other local area malls does not have many vacant stores, which is a good thing. Generally good people watching, a varied slice from all walks of life, not just the mall-rat teens. Parking is plentiful and free, including both open air lots as well as parking structures. There is also a fair amount of other retail in the area just south of this mall. During the holiday season traffic is nightmarish.

Great food court. Always clean. Mall walking in the morning is safe and fun here. Love Bath and Body Works, and Yankee Candle. If you're going to spend $ on fragrances, get the best. It's worth the effort to come to Emerald Square.
